Fees and Tuition

There are two, separate cost components to our program.  These are the Institute for Healthcare Excellence's Nurse Licensure Program Fee, and the university's tuition.  A complete explanation of these costs follow below.

Institute for Healthcare Excellence, Nurse Licensure Program Fee:

We offer two programs to assist international nurses in becoming U.S. licensed, registered nurses.  The first is a comprehensive nurse-licensure program for those nurses who are not licensed in the U.S.  The second program is for international nurses who hold a current, valid state nursing license and wish to have their license transferred to the state in which they will study.   Further details regarding these programs can be found on our What We Do webpage.

For International Nurses Seeking a U.S. Nursing License ($7,500):

We provide comprehensive support to assist our students in becoming licensed, registered nurses in the United States.  Our fee covers all program-related payments including application fees, credentials review, training costs, board of nursing charges, and testing fees up to $2,500 per student, which IHE agrees to pay out of the total program fee paid by the nurse.

For these international nurses, we offer two attractive payment options:

One-TIme Payment: If a student pays for the entire program upon arrival, we will reduce the cost to $6,000 providing a 20% discount from the $7,500 standard fee.

Payments-Over-Time: If a student prefers to pay for the program over time, we only require an upfront payment of $1,500 due upon arrival followed by 12 monthly payments of between $250 to $500 - beginning in month three - with a larger payment in the final month.  The total cost of this payment option is $7,500 plus interest.

For International Nurses Who Hold a Current, Valid U.S. State Nursing License ($2,500):

We offer a streamlined program to assist these nurses in securing a license in the state in which they will be studying (Oregon or Kentucky).  Our program fee for this service is $2,500 and payable-in-full upon arrival.

Our Promise:

We realize that these are historic, financially challenging times for everyone.  While we know that we provide tremendous value, we are committed that any international nurse who wants to participate in our program can. Whether through extended payments, scholarship dollars or a combination of both -- we will find a way to make your dream of becoming a U.S. nurse a reality.  That is our promise!
